Everyone deserves to be happy. This is the mindset that I embrace while assisting each client navigate an extremely complicated legal system in pursuit of their individual goals. I take great pride in establishing an open dialogue with each client to ensure that all their legal concerns are addressed and resolved in a timely and successful manner. My unwavering commitment to justice and my client’s specific needs has enabled me to become a highly effective legal strategist both inside and outside of the courtroom.

I have extensive experience in the litigation of complex high asset and high-income cases, which have encompassed property characterization and distribution, business valuation, alimony, child support, custody, and visitation. Widely known as a tenacious litigator, I am equally adept in the mediation and settlement contexts and recognize that not every case needs to take place in a courtroom.

I graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2004 with a degree in Economics Management before attending Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, NE. I spent the first two years of my legal career as a prosecutor in Hastings, Nebraska, where I successfully represented the interests of abused and neglected children that had been placed in the care and custody of the State. Thereafter, following a move to Chicago, Illinois in 2014, I began practicing exclusively family law which allowed me to integrate my experience as a prosecutor into the complex intricacies involved in resolving all aspects of family law disputes, including those which escalate to trial.

When I am not fiercely advocating for my clients and their respective legal needs, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, golfing, sailing, traveling, exploring new cuisines and restaurants, and volunteering. However, one of the most rewarding things for me is to serve as a trusted guide and advisor for my clients so that they can be successful and get back to being happy. Because my clients deserve to be happy.
