“Success is going from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm” - Winston Churchill
Having the ability to get through hard times with a positive attitude is very important to me. Being able to face hardship, but still being true to my spirit and values is something I always strive to do.
I was born and raised near Atlanta, Georgia. I grew up watching college football- Go Dawgs!! When I was younger, I played softball and basketball which is where I started exhibiting a competitive spirit. That love of competition and my outgoing personality have served me well in my career.
When I was 12 years old, my parents divorced. Due to this experience, I have a unique perspective on the impact divorce can have on a child and families. This perspective is also informed by my own involvement in my personal child custody case. Because of these adversities I can identify with and relate to the fears or concerns that my clients may have on a deeper level.
I have spent almost ten years in the legal field working as a personal injury legal assistant. Throughout my career I have brought that competitive spirit I learned through playing sports and the dedication I learned through hardship to all of my work. As hard as it is to believe, I love my job. I find my work to be very rewarding and look forward to the challenge family law brings. I hope to bring all I learned in my personal life to make my client’s experience as comfortable and straightforward as I possibly can.
When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and my dogs.
