I was born and raised in Wisconsin and am the eldest of three children. I moved to Charlotte in May 2015 to join my husband when he landed his dream job and I have enjoyed trying to finding cheese and beer that rivals that of Wisconsin. My husband and I love traveling, golfing, and cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers in basketball and football.
I graduated from Ripon College with a Bachelor degree in Politics and Government. During that time, I was an active member of Alpha Chi Omega. After graduation I pursued another passion – Retail Management. I was able to develop strong leadership and communication skills during this time. I spent many successful years with a popular convenience store chain, progressing several times to a busier store within the company. I enjoyed forming relationships with both customers and associates at each location. In 2014 I returned to school to pursue paralegal studies. I graduated with an ABA approved Paralegal Certificate and a Risk Management & Insurance Certificate in December 2015. In 2016, I took the exam and passed to become a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal.
I was fortunate to have been raised by both parents. This helped me develop a strong work ethic and learn strong customer service skills early on while working at my parents’ grocery store. I understand every family has a story and I am always willing to take the time to listen to anyone without judgment.
