I love being a family law attorney, first and foremost. I’m a local having grown up in the Raleigh, NC area. I went to law school at North Carolina Central School of Law in Durham, NC. I am convinced I had some of the best professors in the country. I started my career as an Assistant P.D. in Durham County. I thoroughly enjoyed being in that role because it allowed me to be in the courtroom or in the “trenches” as we would call it. I have tried numerous jury trials and district court trials. If you are looking for a woman family law attorney who knows her way around a Raleigh Divorce Court, you have found her.
As a female family law attorney, a mother, and a produce of divorce, I know how important it is for people going through a custody case to have a strong family law attorney. Whether you choose to go to mediation or your case goes to court, you want a divorce lawyer that will stand up for you.
As a Raleigh family law attorney, clients come to me during the worst time in their lives. My experience, demeanor, and background have prepared me to handle these situations with expertise. My clients can leave their stress at the door to my office. I will be your voice for what you want to accomplish. I will guide you through the process with my legal knowledge and experience. At the end of the day, you will know I am on your side and only your side. My goal will be to accomplish your goals.
When I am not practicing law, I am spending time with my family. I am married with two children, a boy and a girl, two cute dogs and a cat. My children attend school in the area, and we attend church in Raleigh. I enjoy being actively involved in my children’s lives, and on the weekends, you can find me at a soccer game or Tae Kwon Do practice. We love going to the coast for vacations. One of my favorite vacations was when we traveled to Ireland.
I could not ask for a better group of people to work with at McIlveen Family Law, and you will be well represented by our firm.
